Five Game Skid, first in Four years.

The Los Angeles Lakers after going a miraculous (17-1) have now lost a shocking five games in a row. So what do the need the Lakers need to do to correct the problems before the playoffs start in a week. The starters have been kind of lost in translation the last week and a half with horrible shooting not including last nights lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder at home when it seemed like they finally began to wake up. Andrew Bynum on the other-hand has begun to play exceptional well in his own right.

So what needs to change?
1.) The bench needs to play with consistency.
---I will give some slack as of late to the bench due to the starters leaving them in double digit holes. But the bench needs to shoot better.
2.) The long ball needs to start landing for the Lakers.
---The Lakers are shooting a combined 35 percent from behind the arch this season with Lamar Odom leading the squad shooting 39 percent.
3.) Stop the attitude!
---To many technical fouls have been handed out against the Lakers. My opinion is, yes they're showing that they are not as soft as people once thought, but with the technical fouls comes points.
4.) Continue to get healthy going into the playoffs.
---The one saving grace in this slide is that it does seem the Lakers are getting healthier. Kobe's lift seems like it is here again, Bynum seems to be playing at a high level and Matt Barnes has looked good since his return.
